I am stuck in between roller rocker selection for my 360 engine with a 125 shot of nitrous

I have a 520-540 lift comp cam with j heads.. My options that I have narrowed it down to is crane golds, Hughes, Mancini's Harlem Sharpe's.. I have found lightly used crane golds for $340 I might just go ahead and buy those.

Why not run 273 adjustables.

Lots less money and should do the job.

Since I have the money now I want to invest in good rockers I can use in later better builds

And the 1.6 ratio would be a nice bump in lift ..

Hey rob I wanted to ask you a question can you pm me

Go Harland Sharps and be done with it. IF....you ever break one, they don't even ask any questions. they just replace it.

I got my Crane Gold's in a smokin deal and put them on my 318 w/ Comp XE268. Lift is only .477/.480 and haven't had a prob yet w/1300 mi on it.

Umm, where does it say those are Harland Sharps???? Those are ProComp if Im not mistaken.

these are Pro Comp

call mancini and ask...?

I send an email asking Mancini....see what they say.

try to stay away from roller bearings on the shaft.. it will eat up the shaft.. try and get ones that are bushed instead.. and get the shafts with the banana groove for the oiling.. I have a set of harland junks that ate the shaft.. the only rockers I use on any of my stuff is Norris

from Mancini...

Tony

The rockers are made by Harland Sharp exclusively for Mancini Racing. They
are the same rocker arm body with out the roller bearings.

Thank you for writing.

the roller bearing rockers ALL take a hardened shaft or else that will happen.

amen, bob. Thats the 1st thing i said to myself when i read his post. That or lack of oil were his problem. If it were only one rocker i would say possible parts failure. However, he said THEY ate his SHAFTS up. Doubt parts failures happened multiple times on both shafts.

i have used crane golds on the street for quite some time with solid roller cams and they seem to do just fine.

Well I ended up buying the crane golds. Maybe later I'll save up and buy Harlem but these will do just fine for my application. Thanks everyone
