Rocker panel chrome install help

I have a 70 Duster with the 2" chrome rocker moldings. Just got the car back from the body shop. I need to install the chrome myself. Do i install all the clips on the car then slide the chrome trim on from one end ? I dont want to bend this chrome.

Install the clips on the car. If you try and slide the molding on it will dig into the paint. They usually go on either top or bottom first then push up to get the top part or bottom part to snap over the clip.
