Rocker Panel Clips

I have been looking for these rocker panel clips for my '64 Barracuda and just cant find them. I need 20. Any help is appreciated!!

I used some fasteners from Mr. Gs part number FA 4188. These are so close. The trim clips on them but is not as tight as the originals. The other issue I had is the hole the fastener goes into did not hold some of the fasteners tightly. This was probably more of a issue with the hole than the fastener. I was watching your thread hoping for a new solution. I was using these clips to hold the rocker panel spears on my 68 Barracuda. I don't know if these are the same as the ones used on your 64.

David273cars, I have a 66 cuda and looked high and low for the better part of 5 years before finding a used set on ebay for my install. Even then I had to alter the original mounting method due to the fact that the push pin sleeve that mounts to the rocker is non-existent. I finally took some drywall mollies, the drill and push in plastic kind, put them into the holes of my rockers and used a stainless steel screw instead of the push pin. You can't see them being so low and the screw blends well with the rocker moulding. I wish I had some to offer, but all I can offer is jaw service. Good luck finding them, Geof

I found a wide "S" shaped spring clip in the hardware drawer at my local auto pro that worked perfectly. You simply put them in the molding,turn it like a key and pop it into place. I'll try to get a picture of one or a part #.
 
Laysons lists the "plugs" that hold the clips on. Part # GM-1510. Don't know what to tell you about the clips. I have several new ones I bought from my Mopar dealer about 30 years ago, but not even enough for my car. If anybody finds repops I'd be interested too.

baucco, you posted while I was looking for my Layson's catalog. I'm interested in more info on the spring clips too.
 
little off ur clip subject but wut about 71 duster WIDE rocker moulding clips are those the same as 71-74 cudas thank you
 
That sure looks like it. Of course, I can't find mine right now to measure to be sure. (One of these days I'm gonna' get organized.....)
 
Thanks for your input!! Ryan, thank you!! I ordered one, just to see. When I get it I'll let you know if that's it. I called Restoration specialists and they don't have them. Buacco, I'm interested to see what you used.

I know you found what you need but those are exactly what holds the upper and lower trim on my 66 Sport Fury.
