rod bearing size

replacing rod bearings in my 440 . the bearings that were in there had a number da-49 10-74 , they also have a round hole at one end when two halves are put together . the ones i recieved has no hole when put together. from looks of i need those holes and are those standard size bearings . thanks for any input just freshing up this 440 thanks

That was for the groove to oil the cylinder walls. They dont bother with that anymore as too much oil can hurt ring seal. If you feel it is important, you could simply use a file and make a little "V" to line upwith the groove in the cap surface. But it really is not needed.
