roll pin

hey im replacing the spider gears in my jeep and theyre held in by a shaft that is held in by a roll pin ive never dealt with a roll pin or nehting i dont think lol do they just get ounched through or i kno this is probly a stupid question but i need to get my dd back on the road sooon

Normally the spider gear rotating shaft is held by a 5/16 pin bolt.if all you have is a roll pin,you should have a entry and exit hole,if only one is seen,a self tapping screw can be inserted and the roll pin removed,mrmopartech

yah i expected it to be held on by a bolt but wen i got in there there was just a pin thnx alot
