Sorry if this is a dumb question. Looking for a rocker kit (arms/shafts) for my build but I'm confused on terminology.

Do roller rockers require a roller cam? I am running a hydraulic flat tappet cam with some worked speedmaster casting heads being built by IMMengine shop. Any recommendations on shafts/arms?

Thanks in advance!

Best way to learn, is to ask questions.
Nope, roller rockers do not require a roller cam. And a mild roller cam doesn't even require roller rockers. But new roller rockers might require new correct length pushrods.
Frankly, I'd ask Brian at IMM what rockers he would recommend. (Or Fred.) Kinda depends on how serious your combo is.

You could also check out B3 racing engines. Owner specializes in Mopar rocker arms, and geometry fixes.
He'll know which rocker works best for a mild sbm combo.
A couple good video explanations on his website.

I used a set from Mancini Racing that are made by Harland Sharp on my 360 LA with a mild flat tappet cam... no issues whatsoever. Overkill for this broomstick of a cam but they had a sale and I said why not. Hardest part nowadays is getting the correct length push rods. GL!
