Changed my combo up. New combo is .030 over 340,2316 pistons, 2.02 ported j heads,9.86 comp., howards 254in.,260 ex., .550 .555 lift on 108 in at 102. 1 5/8 headers,3500 stall and 3.91 gears in a #3600 race weight 68 dart. Shift point will be around 6800 to 7000. Tunnel ram now that runs great but want my gts hood back on the car with no hole. I have both intakes so no cost. 750 holley for carb. Want to use what I have. Has anyone ported the torker 2 with good results and what did it consist of. Thank you.

I ran a torker 2 years ago, but never did any porting on it. Given your combo and rpm levels I think the single plane is the way to go.

If your current converter is flashing 3500 with the TR, I suspect the RPM would be quicker in the car than the T2.

A Victor would likely make more power than either, but I doubt you have enough stall or rear gear to exploit it.

I agree with PRH on this.
This is almost about at that break point between the two intakes. If you had more stall, gear and cam (10*’s), & less weight by 600 - 800 lbs., the single plane would be it.

@UOP always comes to mind on this.

. Thanks everyone. I'll put the rpm on and see how it does. I guess it would only cost a set of gaskets to try the T2 if I want to. Tunnel ram was worth 2.5 tenths over the rpm with my old combo which was less cam and 3.55s. Maybe I'll just have to cut a hole in my GTS hood. LOL.

Hey! For the price of gaskets and the fun that follows. I like to tinker just to see how it is
