Rubber filler pad between body and bumper

I don't know what it is really called, but it's the heavy rubber sheeting used to fill in the space between the body and bumpers on my 74 Scamp, and I'm assuming earlier and later years as well. Is it available someplace, or what do you do when it needs replacing - leave it off?

I think they started using them when they mandated the energy absorbing bumpers in late 73 and up. I don't think the earlier cars used them. I might have some spares kickin around in the parts boxes from the cars I've stripped. Which side and front or rear do you need?
