Ok so I picked up a 904 for a small block.Will a torque converter off a 318 work on a 360.I know I need a fly will a flywheel off a dodge ram or something with a 360 auto work.

318 is internally balanced. 360 is externally balanced. if you get a counter weighted 360 flexplate you can use the TC

I guess that means the flexplate its 360 specfic to.

im sure summit has them, ive even seen them here for good prices. its the converter thats weighted , so all small block flexplates are the same. but you can buy the weighted flexplate to run any converter

So I get the weighed flexplate and I can run the converter then just get any 360 flywheel.
