new to the forum, hope I'm in the right area. yesterday I took several 318&360 'marine' blocks/engines to the scrap yard. broke my heart to part with them. to my knowledge 'marine' engines have steel cranks. I still have a marine 340 (complete) with manufacture date of march 1972, but it's been sitting for many years. the intake is red, which tells me it was at one time replaced and was new at the time. most probably has 340 heads also. I also have 2-3 cranks from marine engines that should be steel. one should be RH, one LH and one for both directions. someone please make me a fair/cheap price! I'm 71 and no good at crating and shipping so you'll have to pick up or I can deliver if not to far. Thanks. Jim. btw, I have several Borg Warner Velvet Drive 1:1 tranny's.
