SB to BB Dart

Hey ya'll. I got a few questions. I have a 74 swinger bracket car. It has a SB in it now. I want to go to a 440. I am thinking about since I would have to change the K member and all that stuff of putting a straight axle under it. I have only ever seen 1 A-Body with a straight axle under it and it looks bitchin. It gives it the A/FX look even though it is isn't year correct the look is still there. Has anyone out there ever done it? Mine is tubbed with 4:30 8-3/4, cage and stripped to weigh 3000# as it sits right now. I even contemplated doing a blower down the road to add to the A/FX look and to go FAST of course. :) Anyway, any input would be great.
 
The car was an original slant car. I didn't think that a BB would work with the original K member? It will?
