I’m aware of the running debate between a lot of really knowledgeable folks about whether or not AAR/TA valve cover were unique or whether the tall loom (and other subtle differences with tabs) were just a running production change for all 340s during that timeframe. I always look at that part whenever I get a chance to see a survivor and I can say I’ve never seen one that didn’t have the tall loom like the one on the far left in your photo.
