I recently posted a parts wanted ad in the forums and received email notification that 2 people responded to my post. So I pulled up my post thread and there are no responses shown. I then searched all forums for the names of the responders and curiously neither name could be found. Suspicious? Scam? Thanks.

I believe you posted your wanted part in the wrong section and it was deleted. You posted it in the exhaust forum correct?
Yes, your first thread was deleted. It was in the exhaust forum and not in a Parts Wanted forum. Now, as far as the scammer, it is entirely possible the scammer posted on another members thread and they reported it. Often times, I delete spam accounts and there are other accounts with the same IP address. (same person, different user names) When I delete one it deletes them all. If you get anything suspicious, hit the report button and let us handle it.
