Schumacher Header Bolts?

Hello,

I am making some progress on the car and should be installing the engine in the next week if not sooner.

I removed all the studs on the exhaust just to avoid any future issues.

It looks like I can use standard bolts when installing the headers. Can I use off the shelf bolts that you get at a bolt company? Or do I need header specific ones?

I noticed that many aftermarket bolts are .750 long, my concern is that those are too short.

I am most concerned with getting something that is not too bad to install with the engine in the car.

I bought regular bolts 1" long and they went right in. Easy to work with and no clearance issues.

Summit gave me the wrong size (3/8"), so I went and bought some 8 grade at ACE. that were an 1" long. All but two fit for me. SO I called Summit, and they are sending the correct ones, but they are 3/4".

It seems either will do. 3/4 will fit better in tight spaces.

You can buy ARP bolts which would look nicer.
