As far as I know they should fit, anyone out there know for sure, these were for a 71 Duster slant 6 to 318, think you have to use washers for spacing on one bolt.

You would need to use washers to make up about 3/8's of an inch on 2 of the bolts on the Drivers side.
 
..there seems to me that there should be a better process than this for sales...I have been &*&^*&^(* twice now ..and from others I know have as well...and who really knows when a pm was sent..I guess it is all in the tone of the sender..seems like the buyer was going to go ballistic..

In my mind..PMs should not be allowed ...

..there has to be a better way...

pm's are a pain in the ***. ya get flooded with them and can't keep up when selling something that quite a few people want..

personally i like the dibs method.. part is listed, first to call dibs on it buys it.. if that falls through ya go right down the line....

would also rather get a phone call or an email on something i have for sale over a PM...
 
Sorry if you think you got screwed over............butttt I don't see how you think you were when I was only 12 days ahead of you. From now on I will call out Dibs when I want to buy something as Joe has stated. No I wasn't going to go ballistic at all and if need be when it came time to install my motor, I would have just bought them from the manufacturer.

Anybody who has done business with me since I was a kid knows that I pay INSTANTLY and I don't mess around. The OP finally said what they fit and he was paid as soon as I found out. If he would have told me 2 minutes after my PM, I would have bought them on the spot!
 
Mad Dart replied like 10 minutes after the ad was posted... nds he ended up with them. i don't see where the confusion is on this one. but being able to put a phone number in the ad would be a lot better. for me anyway... :)

Avispa lowered price...that is a big hint on Mad dart not purchasing..

Rest is history..

I have no problem losing a purchase legitimately..

I don't think you got screwed grassy, or at least I dont look at it that way. I do see that the price was lowered after Maddart sent a pm...Maybe his question wasnt answered, and avispa didnt see or get the pm, or wasnt sure of the answer so he didnt respond...Anyways, glad a member got them and not some douche on E-bay. no offense to you ebay users. LOL
 
part of the problem is people dont list specifics in their ads. Sometimes as basic as "pickup only" then dont list a location. Also, in this case, are the mounts spool mounts? biscuits? for a 273/318 block? 340/360? part number. People need to be specific when listing a part so that fitment questions dont need to be asked and you can decide whether or not you want the part so you can get in line in the proper order.
