Bam! Scored a B body Dana 60 for my 68 Roadrunner. It supposedly came out of a 66 Charger with low miles. Story goes that the Charger owner swapped this Dana with 3.54 gears out for another one with 4.10’s. It’s tight and looks brand new. Came complete with a brand new brake job, and the drums are nice and appear to have never been turned. My Roadrunner is a 383 4 spd car, that I will be putting a healthy 451 or 470 in, and I was worried about the 8 3/4 holding up.

Well that IS A score

And now an annoying story from the old days

When I was stationed at then NAS Mirmar (fightertown USA, Top Gun) I got a chance at a rolling body 67 GTX. I think I gave 250, no title. What I got out of was a good 440 short block, the then much desired 915? 440 heads, and a Dana, and some other parts. There was no title and at the Navy station I had no way of dealing with it. So I stuck the "tapered axle" 8 3/4 out of my 64 under it, stripped out what I could use and store, and "somehow" got it towed to the base impound yard. Hell for all I know it's still there!!!

(This was about 1972)

Yea I scrapped a lot of stuff back in the day, if we only knew.

But hay nice score, and it should last for ever.
