Guys, I have a set of Sealed power pistons (H405CP) in my 360 motor. To add a little more compression i am about to fit a Mopar Performance head gasket .027" compressed thickness.
I need to know If I have sufficient piston to head/valve clearence. I've read elsewhere on this site that these pistons sit approx..080" down the hole. I put a feeler gauge across the top of my piston at TDC and thre is .025" to the deck. Should I be concerned about clearance?

I would not worry. The way you check is to get clay, put a small amount of it on the pistons under the valves, install gasket and rotate engine by hand a couple of revolutions. Remove head and measure the clays thikness.
Clearance guessing is made easier if you surpply the cams lift and duration.

OK, duration is 218/224 @ .50
Intake lift .462Ex lift.470
Comp cams XE262H
I suspect clearence is ok, but advice (as above) appreciated!

Thanks Rumblefish, i'll bolt 'em up this morning. Clear and sunny day here in the UK :drinkers:

good. Let us know what you come up with.
