I have noticed my belt size has gotten bigger as I have gotten older. I'm starting to notice that my front seatbelt is a bit tighter than I would like.

I was looking at my stash of seatbelts and noticed that one of the belts was longer than the rest. Certainly it must be for the front so I measured it and nope it was longer than the OEM front. Back seat??? Yep it has a bent attachment vs the front which has a flat attachment. I removed the front seat belt attachment bolt, put in the rear seat belt and put the bolt back in.

Now I have about 6 inches extra belt in the front. If you don't have extra belts just swap the front to the rear and be sure very skinny people sit in the back seat!

Try getting an extension that fits 67 belt hardware.

As for sewing up an extension... You still have to have access to a spare male and female end, webbing, and an industrial sewing machine to stich the proper heavy threads.

I make a perfectly good post about a seat belt hack that many of us could use and you all **** all over it.

At least I would weigh less!

Hey, I changed my seatbelts because I'm a fat ***. You set yourself up with the 1st line of your post.
