Hello, probably too late to get this for my wife for Christmas but. . Amazon Prime is awesome

My wife recently drove the barracuda for the first time, with the seat all the way forward she had trouble touching the pedals - She was concerned with the brake pedal. Brakes are still drum. It took away from the fun of driving the car. She is 5 feet tall

There are 1000s of car seats cushions. Anybody have any recommendations from experience? This would need to be a temporary seat cushion option

thanks for the helpful knowledge

My pal Jackie carries a booster seat (the kind restaurants have for kids) in her Challenger.

My oldest sister had that same problem. She is also 5 ft. tall. My brother in law bought a '63 Ford Galaxie, and she carried a pillow to put behind her when she drove. Still had trouble reaching the pedals. Surely 52 years later, there is a safer solution.

I don't know if my wife wants to drive around like Short Round

My, wife is 4ft 11in, I solved the solution by not letting her drive LOL. I'd have to sit in the back if she had the bench seat pulled up so she could drive.

One suggestion, maybe relocate the seat bracket slides so you can both comfortably drive.

My wife is 4ft 11in too. Anyway, I'm not sure she could see over the dashboard. She also has never driven anything with more than 165 horses or with manual steering and brakes.

Insurance co solved the problem for me as THEY won't let her drive the Duster since she hasn't been licensed in Canada for 10 years.

I got you all beat, my wife is 4'10" or so she says, and that's what's on her drivers license. Sometimes I doubt shes really 4' 10" seems more like 4' 8", but she wont let me anywhere near her with a tape measure in my hand...lol

Wifey drives a Nissan Sentra, and still has the seat all the way forward, and two cushions, one under her and one behind her. I also raised the drivers seat up 3/4" with some blocks under the tracks and longer bolts.

Don't think she could ever drive my dart, which is fine by me.

p.s., I also raised the passenger side bucket seat in the Dart about an inch so she can see better.
