seat frames bucket

I have a set of 73 bucket seat frames from an ebody , is the basic frame the same as an 72 or earlier a body bucket seat frames ?

Same - mostly. From '72 and newer.

71 back had an inner frame basket in the seat backs.

So in comparison to the 71 back to 70 possible versions, the 72 up types are more common.

Hey Alaskan_TA, sorry to jump in on this thread but I'm wondering about the 70 bucket seats frames vs the 72 model.

I have 72 seat frames, but have 70 bucket seat covers. I was going to order 70 seat foams, to go with the 70 seat covers, and mount them on the 72 frames.
Will this all work together? Or will I need to find a set of 70 frames?
