Where are the part#'s on a set of bucket seat tracks located?
I looked at a set today and could not find any markings
or numbers at all.
These are 70-71 abody tracks.
Is there any foolproof way to tell?
Part numbers?
Thanks,
Carl

70 and early 71, not sure of the break off date, use a wire/cable connecting from the left track to the right to adjust them. This is for buckets....

Thank 6pk2goDemon,
Thats a part of the puzzle I need to know.
They do have the wire/cable connection.

Hows about the part# and location on the tracks
anybody know anything about this?

I have these number as part# are they correct?

Driver side inner track: 345069
outer track:345073

Pass side inner track: 345068
outer track:345072

The part #'s you posted are correct for Valiant & Dart w/ bucket seats. Listed in the book for 70 & 71.

I have looked for #'s before on seat tracks, but no luck...:hmph:

Not sure if this will help, but here are photos of 71-72 Dodge bucket seat runners. Left and right side of pass seat.

Those tracks are the late 71 - 72 style. There is only a lever on the outer track and the inner track just "follows" along.

The earlier ones have lever arms on both tracks w/ a wire connecting them.

Thanks 6pk2goDemon, that is good to know.

I'm posting a couple more photos for another member to view. Hope you don't mind.
