Car seats a re sort of like sofas and chairs in a room. All same but different. So measure the available space then go to the pick and pull with your measurements.
I made the mistake of putting 67 sport fury buckets in a barracuda once. The seat bottom hit the door panel. Had to open the door to access the release lever.
Majority of alternate seats will have their levers under the front of the base.
I saw a nice pair of leather Volvo buckets in a A-body once.
I heard one guy saying he was putting 4 heated buckets in his A-body. He didn't say what vehicle they came from.
Hope this helps

the scat procars are very comfortable...

Just got this car, prev owner said he went through 4 sets of seats. Even the driver seat thats in it now, the back is basically broken in half. At the same time, i hate driving a car with horridly uncomfortable seats.

4 different sets ? hopefully they had the same tracks , otherwise i bet the floorboard looks like it was shot with a 12 gauge lol

Heheh, floor board looks like a shot gun holes..

I just started a thread about 01 dakota extended cab seats. I am seriously looking into putting these type in my Duster.

I reckon if you are a big fellow or a small fellow that plays a role in what kind of seat suits you.

I weight 170 / 5'8" so, I dont need a seat with angle iron up the back brace but some fellows are 6'1 / 300 like my buddy and he needs a bigger stronger seat that sits lower in the car.

Ilike those seats , do they sit higher than the factory buckets , and do they bolt right in , no mods ? Thanks

yes they have the same tracks. The backs are broken. Im also a fairly big dude. about 6'1" 200lbs. And the guy i bought it from was about the same size.

I'm really not certain how you break the back of seats in half, since it never happened to me before. But i guess older seats have a low threshold for punishment.

never had factory buckets so i'm not sure about height differences. sits close to what my bench did when it was fresh though. to me they sit perfect. not too high and not too low. plenty of room on the steering wheel and high enough to put my arm out the window comfortably..

bolt in was straight forward. only two holes in the pass seat didn't line up where stock ones would.. other then that they bolted right in..

here is the thread of my install. you can see what i'm talking about..
