I have a pair of Sebring convertable seats and was wondering if anyone has any pictures of how they mounted them or can pass on anything tips?

Thanks,
Darin

Wow I guess using sebring convertible seats is not that popular. Did you ever mount them and what year sebring did the seats come out of? Do those seats have the shoulder harness integrated into the seat?

I am about half way done with building the tracks and have the seat electronics working. The seats I have came out of a 99 Sebring Convertable and have the integrated seatbelt.

I have similiar seats in mine. Can't get any pics right now since my camera isn't here but basically you need to use 1" square tubing and make 4 brackets for each side that bolt to the original bucket seat mount locations then take 2 more 1" square tubing pieces and run across on the front and rear. The sebring seats probably have the front attaching points at about a 30 degree angle, those need to be bent down to 90 degrees and bolted to the front cross piece. The rear should be relatively straight out and will need to be bent also to bolt to the rear cross piece. This puts the seat up high enough so you can see over the dash. If you are tall and need the seat WAAY back you will have to modify the design. PM me your email address and I'll see if I can borrow a camera for a while and get some pics for you.

Now the post is working. Lets see some pics when you are finished Darin.

Lhearold, I would be inertested in seeing the mounting hardware too. Could you post them here or should I send you my e-mail address?

OK, I'll try and post the pics. Last time I tried the pics didn't post. Don't know why. These were taken this afternoon with my neighbors sons el cheapo camera so they may not be the greatest. Also, its hard to get pics of the setup with the seats in the car.....

OK, last 2. The first 4 or so are the passengers seat. The rest are drivers side. The object was to keep the same position of the seat as the original and get it high enough to see over the dash (I'm 5'10"). Worked out well.
