Second hurricane in less than 4 weeks

At least I'm a little better prepared for this one, but it's still a PITA. And now there's another one coming behind this one. :(

We lost power for 4 days when the last storm went through. We also lost 5 trees and part of my pool enclosure. This time I have two 5500 watt generators and 61 gallons of gas for them. :D I ain't screwing around no more. I'll get back to you guys when I can.

Keep all of us down here in your prayers.
 
Hope you make it through with out any problems, I'm sitting right in the path of this one. Just got a little breeze & rain from the last. I'm riding it out here with the family & a few extra guests. Wish us luck!

Just got power back from the second storm and now there's a third one coming. It's hell living in Florida without A/C I tell ya! We're ready for the third storm now. At least it looks like it's going to go west this time. It's a pretty big storm though like the last one. We were 250 miles north of where the eye came on shore and we still got tore up. Hope this one doesn't do the same kind of damage, I'm liable to snap. Anyway all the Mopes weathered the storm and came out fine, of course the Duster was in the garage. :D
 
We made it through Frances with just a little wet carpet, a few missing shingle, and lots of branches on the ground. no power for three days. Looks like this one will go to the west this time :cheers:
 
looks like its my famlies turn heading toward AL cost if it hits there hope my new house can weather the winds. Brand new we are supposed to move in wensday the same day the hurricane is supposed to hit.
 
Much luck to you Chad, if it's a new home I'd think it would be built to withstand the storm. I still wouldn't try to move in that day though.
