My name is Ed, I am from New Jersey.
I joined this site when it first started and lost contact with it.
I rejoined awhile ago. My 68 Hemi GTS project is pictured below. It is in the fab shop undergoing major surgery.
Just wanted to say Hi to all of you.

Welcome back. Just one question, why don't you put some bigger tires under that thing??!!! Just Kidding. That car looks badass
 
We put these tires under it after my fab guy got done cuttin, and he built the rear and frame to them.
Need all the meat we can get in there to handle the 557CI Hemi thats goin under the hood.

Holy shite! I guess so. I dont imagine a hemi that big is too friendly to tires!

That thing is very intimidating!!!

Hope to have some updated pics soon.
I am supposed to go to the Fab shop for seat and shifter placement.
Car just came down off the jig, had a set of NOS frame rails installed up front and some rear suspension mods done.

Gotta love that custom fab work.

It truly is an art of sorts, and I really like to see some that just have entirely way too much overkill cage work.

Someone had one here not too long ago that reminded me of the "deathproof" car, all it was missing was the plexiglass divider and the tractor seat.

Mine started out to be a 7.50 cert car, than NHRA changed the rules(go figure) So it will only cert to 8.50 now.
My new fab guy changed a few things and added some other safety features though.
