can I use oil and water sending units from a la engine on a magnum engine? This is on a 70 duster, stock gauges.

Short answer... yes. Oil unit on the back of the block by the distributor. Temp on the intake in water. Now I'm not sure if you were using the OE intake if it just threads right in there.

You almost have to; they are a matched set.
Will they fit? IDK.
But do not stick the temp sender in a stack of adapters. It will not read correctly. Drill and tap the water crossover if that is what it takes, cuz the sensor tip has to be in the flowing hot water.

Edelbrock RPM intake, there are holes with plugs in them. Makes sense that I have to use the 70's version so the gauges read correctly. Just hoping the sizes are the same.

Thanks

Oh they are, there are two spots for the temp unit. I used an old one to plug the other hole.
