Well I'm at a standstill once again on the Dart...was making good headway with the new floorpans and about a week and a half ago now i managed to fall off a ladder and break my leg. Slow down but not done, I figured when the pain started easing I could at least sit in the garage and tack the floor pans in. Then I found out Friday I developed a blood clot in my lower leg and now I'm on blood thinners for the next few months(?) and the last thing I'm allowed to do is fool around with sheet metal or anything that can cut me. Can't even drive the Mustang Gt for kicks, I can't get in it...looks like its going to be a loo-ng summer..
 
Oh man, sorry to hear. I broke a bone once and it was in the top 10 painful things I've ever done. I hope you heal up quickly and can get back to the Dart.
 
Hope you heal up fast! I remember when I injured my back, every time I pushed the clutch in on my Neon was a new adventure in pain, I learned the clutch-less "Truckers shift" technique, it helped a lot.
 
Sorry to hear the bad news GTGrinly, That had to be a bad fall :angry7:
Take a picture of it so we can copy it and sign it and re-post it so others can do the same :-D I hope you heal up soon and get back to what you enjoy. What the heck was you doing on the ladder 8)
 
Man you got my kind of luck now, I know what you are feeling. Hang in there, the time passes farely fast actually. It will get better beleive it or not!
 
Unfortunitly I work off ladders almost everyday, I had a ladder that was actually too short to finish the job I had to do and it was only a few more minutes work so I reached for what I needed and my old knee started to pop to the side and when I tried to correct all hell broke loose and I landed in a pile. Didn't go but 6 feet but it was enough to overextend my knee and fracture my tibia.
Thanks for the kind words..no cast to sign Memike...they want to xray weekly so they are not casting.
