Hey 340plot, I would also like to point out, some one looks to have replaced the factory springs with single/no damper springs, and the exhaust appears to have "rotators" on them which is not factory. The heads ARE worth what your asking in my opinion, even in bare form. Good luck with the sale, and where the heck do you keep finding all these good deals on cars and parts? LOL

i know that they were rebuilt, but did not want to mis-lead anyone into thinking they are bolt on ready. i am sure from sitting they need new valve seals, but other than that, i say they arte ready to go.

what do you mean "rotators"?

i just happen to meet one person to buy something mopar from them, and they tell their buddies, and next thing i know, i got 10 people calling me, telling me they got alot of mopar stuff just sitting that they would sell for the right price.
i have turned down most of the high dollar stuff, as they want to much for it. i am talking bb cross-rams, six pack setups, shaker setups. i got a guy who has a nos full shker setup, still in the seperate wrappers, but his price is still too high, and now the repops are killing the originals more and more.

rotator retainers on the exhaust valves are low RPM truck parts, keeps the carbon buildup on the valve face to a minimum from lots of low RPM idle and use. You can see the difference as they are 2 part retainers. They are just heavy and not a high RPM/HP part, more like a HD part. But they also look to be gasket matched so someone was looking to get more out of them.

Look at the exhaust valve spring retainers. Notice how they look differant from the intake retainers. If you were to remove one, you would find it is sorta like two retaners with a bearing in between the two. Its purpose it to allow the exhaust valve to rotate as it opens and closes. The are mostly used in HD aplications, like trucks, but never high performance use. Your factory 340 springs would also have had a damper in them, it looks like these do not. Most likely when they were rebuilt, someone swaped these parts, but it doesnt really matter, if someone rebuilds them again, they will likely replace this stuff anyway.
