Shifter Linkage Adjustment

I had to take apart the floor shifter linkage when I replaced the shift seal in the trans. Now it's all out of wack. What is the procedure for getting it somewhat back in order. Maybe have it in neutral? I understand having a FSM would help me but I don't so I revert to asking the people on here.

Put the lever into the park position and adjust the linkage till it drops into place. Run it through its travel. Make sure you have all the stops. Shouldn't need re adjustment.

Next time look at it before you alter the adjustment. It can be removed and installed without needing any adjustment.
