looking to buy actually need shocks for my 68 dart 270 had 6 cyl pulled and 318 moved in but plan on going up to 360 when i can afford it shocks on front are wasted so can anyone tell me what shocks i should go with and also i will replace rears when i can afford to thanks for replys building on budget

PST has a set of 4 KYB's for 179.00. And if you have an O'reilly auto parts near you they sell Monroe's which is a very good shock for the dollar. You ought to be able to get them for about 18.00 per shock. I put some Monroe's on my pickup to replace some gabriels, big difference...

I agree with andrews. I used Monroe-matics all around purchased at Oreillys. It's not a "high performance" shock, but it is better than anything that was being made when our cars were new, and it sure as hell was better than the worn out ones that were on it.

rockauto.com has the fronts for $12 and the rears for $16. They also have the KYB's for $36 a piece.
