should i use a a body tail shaft?

so i got this b body transmission for my 68 barracuda, i was wondering if i should swap the tail shaft to a a body?

only if you want the shifter to be in the right spot in the floor....

thats why i want to swap it out. will i come throught any obstacles, will it slip in and bolt up and call it good?
