I am gettig ready to put my battery in the trunk of my 74 Duster and am looking for pics and ideas on where to mount my cut-off switch.

Where did you put yours?

I've seen 'em inside the trunk, under the trunk, thru the bumper, thru the tail lights, and a friend even has one in the dash of his Dart. My favorite is to put the switch on a tab, welded to the rollcage, with a rod thru the tail light panel, to make it work. With a close second, of putting it all below the bumper, on a bracket, so that no paint has to be disturbed.

Take out a bumper bolt ream hole a little. Make sure u get a 4 terminal switch .

to race at the track you have to have the swich on the back of your hotrod or a push off handle/knob like mentioned above that is clearly marked which way is off.

Yup.

I like the idea of taking a bumper bolt out.
Any one have any pics of one on the back of a Duster?

I put mine right thru the back of the Duster.

I would rather track staff can find the switch in a hurry, then worry about it messing up the look of the car.

I`ve seen them go through the licence plate if you have a o or a 0 in your plate # .
