Installed new floor pans and a new rug and now comes the question of the day. Does the forward inner sill plate screw to the floor through the forward kick plate or does it use a clip type speed nut ?
New floor pans and I also sprayed sound/heat coatings. That is why I am seeking the help of FABO. Thanks .It’s just a drilled hole in the top of the rocker metal. You’ll see it if you just peel back that carpet a little. Put an awl through the carpet into the hole and chase it in with a soldering iron.
I have seen sill plate screw kits, some with longer screws and then some with just the smaller ones. I have new sill plates so, I will definitely be taking your advice and restoring the hole into the floor/sill area . Thanks again.Well, you can line up the sill top holes if you have them, then drill your holes front and back. All of those holes are just drilled into the rocker sill top.
The longer screws are for those 2 side holes in the sill plate.
