I have a 71 duster with Hedmen Headers now my ? is on the drivers side rear plug (#7) I have the plug wire to the plug with the straight boot but I have to wrap the boot with clearance tape to keep it from getting torched. i have seen some with the 90 degree boot and they go under the tube of the header, I do buy the high temp wires but would like not to have to use the tape, so is the 90 degree boot to this plug the better way?
