Hey all,
I have a 74 duster, long story short I'm at the point on it where I'm really tired of where the bumpers sit, its just my personal preference and style to have them sunk in to where i believe they should be, but I don't wanna wreck the pristine shock mounts, as I am sure there is some other car out there being restored by someone that greatly needs or wants them, so i want to fab up some new brackets for it, I'm skilled at welding and junk, I'm just curious as to if anyone else here has done this, and if so, please tell me how, because that front mount looks like it holds onto a lot of bs and stuff, and if someones done it before, I'm certain they know some tricks or something, sooooo please, please help me out here, because I'm really sort of at a standstill here...
Thanks!!

the option that has been done by others is to put the 70-72 bumpers on the later dusters as they are not as bulky and can be move in closer to the body
