Since the motor in my '74 Dart appears to be toast, I do have a need.

(edit) confirmed bad rod bearing on #5.

1965 slant engine cannot be used in a 1968 or later car, unless using the 1967 or earlier trans. The hole in the end of the crank is smaller on the earlier engine, and the converter will not fit.

Me too. I used to live in Hopatcong, but have been here in Florida since 1991. If I knew I would be going up there soon, I would have it picked up.

Had a 225 w/42K miles, in a '71 Duster.

Hoped & tried to give it away for a year.

No luck...sold for scrap...just as most are.
