One of the guys here did the same here. The problem he had was he kept getting vapour lock as the fuel rail kept getting to hot. He had to build an aluminum heat sheild to keep things cool. The big problem is the exhaust manifoild site under the intake, and all that heat goes up to the intake. He had a 3.8 super charger on the /6 and used SDS fuel managment sytem to run things.

The heat is not the real problem, you need to run a return line at the end of the fuel rail with injection that way the air is always purged from the lines back to the tank.
