Slant 6 Intake question

What is the large threaded hole on the rear intake runner for? vacuum fitting? Every one I have ever seen is broken off and just a plug basically.

Yes, it is a vacuum port. Mine is pluged. some of the newer cars needed it for the lean burn ignition, i think. On my 71 it was just a plug.

Aye, I have that large performance vacuum gauge on the dash It's probably used for that? Thanks
