local guy wants to swap out his slant in his 75 duster.
He has a rebuilt 360 ready to put in.
I volunteered to assist;
found a local with a v-8 K member -
(73 car rough)- going to check it out today.\\
how hard is it to mount the engine in the "k' & slide it under the car -- versus going in from the top?
anyone with experience doing this? I'll have a cherry picker & a decent floor jack/ with numerous jack stands.
I also told him that I would help get everything bolted up-- but not sure on getting it running (time thing)
dis-assembly shouldn't be a problem---
any hidden tricks,
my plan is to take numerous pictures for reference-- worried about condition of his lca's /strut rod bushings on existing car( I have not seen the car)
