I have a 67 slant6 crank shaft for the small snout converter. I have 2 904s, one is a 67 ( I don't know how good this one is) and I have a pretty fresh 904 1970 with a larger dia. snout. My question is will the 67 converter swap into the 70 904 ( fit the input shaft splines and pump properly? ) Thanks for any info on this.

No, the spline count changed too with small to big snout. Look in at the very bottom and that is the spline count your interested in. You may have to turn convertor on its side to have fluid drain off the splines. I missed them the first time I counted as they were under fluid

Nope it wont work. it can work the other way around 1968 and up block with a 1967 and down trans with a crank adapter Charlie_s sells.

Well then..... how readily available is a converter for the 67 down ???? NEVER MIND ON THAT ONE.

Not bad, I bought one used 3 months ago for someone here. I think it was 25 bucks.
