Your dealing with a car thats half a century old, and even when they were brand new there wasnt a ton of love for these cars

At any rate, this is what i got, the part number on it is 2998324-83044

I have no idea what it came off of, so do your due diligence and let me know what you find.

thanks for the info. The car is in storage and will not be able to get to it for a couple of days to get my comparison measurements.

thanks

this one came with the stock slant six. maybe things are different here in canada, or a special order maybe

No worries, just let me know if you think the one I got works for you

I measured the mounting holed as follows:

width 18 3/4

height 15

fan blades 18 across

Looks like the one u have will not fit and my measurements dont seem to correspond to anything

Can you tell if the car originally came with a shroud?
Is there a 7 digit number stamped on the upper tank of the radiator.

don't believe it came with a shroud and i can't get back into storage to check to radiator tank. Its gets hot when idling or moving slowly. Has a new core put in the rad that seems to work b well on the highway under light load. Would changing the stock help?

I had a similar issue with my /6 in my Duster. Driving was no issue, but it was getting hot at idle and under load. That OE /6 radiator is just damn small.
I tried replacing the thermostat, even going so far as removing it. I flushed the system and even even replaced the heater core. Same problem.
Ultimately I ended up putting a stock radiator for a V-8 in its place. They built 76 SE's with V-8's and you should have zero issues dropping one in there.
I put a 26" radiator in place of that little one and my car hasn't even come close to getting hot since.
I wouldn't mind having an upper fan shroud, but I want that more for finger preservation than cooling issues.

The 1970 thru 1976 Chrysler parts catalogs show Abodies with 225 engines and 19 inch radiator came with no shroud.
The Abodies with 22 and 26 inch radiators came with a shroud.
22 inch radiator for your car can be installed without drilling any new holes.
May need different radiator hoses.
