slide a link question

Hi all. Need some feedback from those running slide a links. Should the rear tube pivot on the spherical rod end while the car is parked? Or should that be tight and then once the car is in motion does that pivot? Thanks.

I have the Slide-A-Link on my 73 Dart Sport 340,4 speed,the rod pivots on mine in park.I,m sure it doesn,t move under load.

thanks, yeah I called competition engineering and they told me the same thing. I had something adjusted wrong last(and first week with them) at the track, along with some other issues.

I,m running XHD springs in my 73 Dart Sport with a 8 3/4 s.g 4.10,s Moser LBP axels.The car hooks good!
