Slide-A-Links on 66 Valiant ?

Say, I have a turboed 66 Valiant w/ slant 6 that runs in the 11's. This year I added Comp Eng Slide-A-Links to the rear and it raised the whole car about 1". I haven't taken it to the track yet to see how it hooks but is this normal for the body rise? Springs are stock 6 leaf BB from 68 dart. Later.

I wouldn't think the slide a link should raise the rear unless you dial a bunch of preload into it.

My caltracks don't raise the rear and it's a similar design.

I have the slide-a-link on my 73 Dart Sport 340,it didn,t raise at all.I also have 90/10 adj. shocks.it hooks good and has lots of adjustment to play with!

I set the preload at what they recommemded. The problem is that the mounting u-bolt that clamps around the front part of the spring (behind the eye) seems to be pulling the spring down. Instructions are vague about this and their website. Later.
