Small Block Camshaft Identification

I bought a supposedly rebuilt 340 a number of years ago. Before I tried to run it, I thought it wise to tear it down. Anyhow, among other things, I'm trying to determine the camshaft specs. The only identification on the cam is the number "970799." I've tried parts lists for various manufacturers and came up with nothing.

Anyone have an idea what this number is?

Unless you put a degree wheel and a mic on the lobe or lifter, your outta luck.
