Im selling a NEW set of Hooker Competition Headers (p/n 5901- 1 ⅝ primary tubes with 3 collectors) for small-block Mopars in ABEF Bodies and Trucks. I bought these over four years ago, to replace the leaky, rusty headers on my Power Wagon. To prevent the kind of problems I was having with my current headers, I set out to create the worlds greatest header. I block sanded the exhaust flanges and collector flanges perfectly flat, which took months of weekends sitting on my balcony- probably well over 40 hours of sanding- youd be surprised (or maybe not) how many machining marks were on the flanges as-delivered. I also had a local welding shop plug a hole where the primary tube was not quite welded correctly to the flange, then I had the whole piece sent out to Jet Hot in Phoenix to be ceramic coated in black, inside and out. The finished product came back as a work of art.
Unfortunately, I do not own any Small-Block powered Mopars any more, so I need to clean some parts out of the garage. I am selling these at the same cost as brand new Hooker Competition Darkside headers, to which they are equivalent. (Minus the additional work I did to perfectly flatten the flanges.)
