small block intake

hi,just got a macho dodge pick-up,the intake casting number is 2846707.it is a four barrel,but from what?i can not find this number anywhere,any help out there?thanks,mark

Sorry I don't have a casting number cross ref. but I can say that if it's a stock cast iron intake there were only about 3-4 different ones made. Early 273 intakes that only fit 64-66 273 engines and were square bore intakes. Then there is a square bore intake made for 68-70 340's. In 71 the 340 came out with a thermoquad so it's a spread bore intake and basically the same intake used on later 4 barrel model 360's except it had an egr valve. What carb is on it? What year truck? What year engine? More info would sure help alot.

Used 1968 to 1974 - Raw Water Cooled Engines with Two Impeller Raw Water Pump & Carter 4 BBL Carburetor.

hi and thanks for the replys.manifold has big rake for carb base and that is what thru me off.it might look good with a carb on it.it did not come with one.thanks once more,mark
