I have a offenhauser intake here for sale. Its been glass beaded and painted with a high temp silver. I would like to get 80.00 plus shipping for this. The tube on the front under the thermostat is smaller than normal. I added a piece of hose to it and worked fine with no leaks on my Demon. It has the normal small area of pitting. I just took this off with no leaks. I had it on a 318 engine. The intake is located in Fredericksburg va 22408

half the runner runs off the primaries, the other half only functions during secondary operation.

Also, being a single plane design for both primary and secondary sides of the carb. The idea is a single plane will/should produce better Hwy. mileage. The ports on the primary side are small. This should produce alot of velocity. Also good for mileage since it breaks up the fuel more for a finer mist which leads to a better and more completely burnable charge.
More power from more of the fuel being burnt.

Wow, haven't seen an Offy Dual Port 360 in awhile.
I ran one of these on my '69 340 Swinger back in the very early '70s and was very pleased with it.
Rumblefish360 is 100% correct with what he said. The other part of the engineering was when the secondaries opened up you got a cooler shot of fuel because the secondary half of the intake runner was on top and, theoretically, cooler than the bottom primary half of the runner.
Good luck with your sale.
