Snorkel hood scoop color?

Hello all;

I am currently restoring my 1972 Demon. Looking for information for a paint code for the snorkel hood scoop? Was there one or did it just get painted a flat black color? Any and all help appreciated.

I never saw one from the factory other that the organisol "flat" black color. I could be wrong though, there might have been a paint option for them. I can't say with 100% certainty.

Mine was on the car from the original owner and it is (now badly faded) flat black.
It’s a 72 demon with b5 blue hood

Mine were just plain (72 Demon) flattish black as well. There is likely some folks that know for sure, but much like previous post my understanding is, only the black color on the Demon.

Here is my 72 with as far as I know original scoops. I shined and clear coated them for a bit of luster.

I've been wondering. Mine came w/ an original one ( not to car. It looks OK I guess, now the go wing my Bro gave me off his 71 Cuda could use some love. Are these things printable? A neighbor gave me some stuff for a guy he did a service car for. Some kinda resto black for high end cars, tried to research it on our rides. No info. Didn't know of it would "eat" the material

Eastwood’s Rat Rod Satin is a good product that really lays out nice and is close to the original organisol color and is very friendly on the wallet. Depending on how you spray it you can get some texture but not 100% of what was in the original paint.
