spare hood?

There is a local yard that has a 74ish valiant that has a decent hood.
price $50... should I pick it up?

It is in better shape than the one I have.

I was thinking about picking it up just to have a spare to possible put a scoop on. not to mention no metal repros that I know of.

If it's better than the one that you have currently then why not buy it, stash it in the rafters, and use the existing one for your hood scoop experiment...??? Seems you would want to cut up the less desirable of the two, but that's just my take on it...
