Spark Plug Gap

I have a silly question, what gap should I set my plugs at on a 318 with a 4bbl Holley carb and original points distributor? I can seem to find this information anywhere..

Thanks! I think they are currently gapped at .045 (this was just a guess when I put them in). I will re-gap them.

I gap mine at .045 with a MSD 6A, MSD Blaster II(high output) Coil, and MSD Heli-Core wires. You can go wider with the hotter ignition you have, but a stock points setup.... .035 is what cha need :thumblef:
